Tauck took the coveted award of ‘Best Tour Operator’ at the 37thannual Virtuoso Travel Week (VTW). The prestigious gala awards event, which took place on Thursday, 14thAugust at the Bellagio, Las Vegas, recognised the luxury travel network’s member agencies, advisors and brand partners worldwide. The ‘Best Tour Operator’ category highlights a tour operator, or wholesaler partner, with the most compelling travel options and itineraries, whether for independent travellers or escorted tours.

Virtuoso’s annual awards gala taps into world class talent to celebrate the best in luxury travel and experiential travel. Nominations for the coveted Virtuoso Global Awards, came from a survey of the Virtuoso network and elected members of Virtuoso’s various Boards and Committees voted to determine the winners.

The award win, came on the same day that Tauck unveiled details of its new brand, Roam by Tauck, designed specifically for travellers in their 40s and 50s. The new brand, Tauck’s first in more than a decade, which will offer small-group journeys averaging just 16 guests per departure and features an engaging balance of flexibility, active adventures, and signature experiences. Roam by Tauck will debut 12 itineraries across six continents by 2027, with at least five journeys set to launch in 2026.
