Experience fun, inventive cooking without borders by Chef Kelvin Cheung as Jun’s Dubai launches its first-ever pop-up in Bangkok at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. Chef Kelvin Cheung’s fun dining concept – recognised by the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023–2025, Gault Millau 2023-2025 (1 Toque) and MICHELIN Guide 2023 and 2024 – pairs the finest local and global ingredients to showcase his personal culinary adventures.

Drawing inspiration from his Chinese and Asian heritage, North American background and global peregrinations, Chef Kelvin creates playful presentations and vivid flavours that elevate fusion cuisine to another level. Each captivating dish is designed to surprise and delight diners.

Jun’s Dubai will present a modern eight-course fine dining experience, bringing a taste of Dubai to Bangkok. The menu will feature oysters as starters, Farmers Bread, Singapore Chilli King Crab, XO Scallops, Wagyu Beef Cheeks as the main course and pandan-infused Kaya Toast to conclude this exceptional set menu. The price is THB 4,300++ per person, with an optional wine pairing at THB 3,900++ per person.

Born in Canada, raised in Chicago and now based in Dubai, Kelvin Cheung is a Chinese-Canadian chef who has felt a strong connection to the kitchen from a young age. Expect his larger-than-life personality and innovative dining creations during this exclusive six-night event, from 14 to 19 May 2025, 17:30 to 24:00, at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

For a luxurious weekend treat, this extravagant Sunday Brunch offers diners the chance to savour unlimited portions of global fusion cuisine-inspired selections, along with à la minute dishes. The starter menu offers a selection of enticing dishes, including Freshly Shucked Oysters on Ice, Beetroot Salad with Raspberry Dressing, Lobster and Prawn Bisque and Thai-style River Prawns with Spicy Seafood Sauce. Seafood lovers can also indulge in a generous selection of seafood with house-made condiments and sauces.

When you’re ready to move on to the mains, the menu features an array of tempting options, including BBQ Pork Ribs with Lemongrass and Chilli Glaze, Australian Angus MBS4+ Sirloin with Condiments, Cooked Salmon Fillet with Lemon Beurre Blanc Sauce, Oysters Kilpatrick and Penne with Parmesan Cream Sauce, amongst many others. For a sweet finish, a free-flow dessert station offers unlimited portions, complemented by à la minute dessert creations.

Sundays at ALATi – Family Brunch is available every Sunday at ALATi from 12:00 to 16:00. The price is THB 3,400++ per person, with children aged 6 to 12 enjoying half-price at THB 1,700++ per child.

Matcha Meets Macarons Afternoon Tea

This is the first-ever pastry collaboration between celebrity chef Yusuke Aoki from Japan and Executive Chef Franck Istel of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. The ‘Matcha Meets Macarons’ teatime concept showcases the elegance of French and Japanese patisserie traditions, using unique ingredients from both countries, perfectly presented through exceptional taste and appearance.

Enjoy special creations from Chef Yusuke Aoki that reflect his passion for haute pastry, including Matcha Opera Layered Cake, Yuzu Vanilla White Chocolate Vacherin, Hoji Tea Jivara Mousse with Apricot Confit and Strawberry Verrine with Sakura Jelly and Milk Blanc Manger. Chef Frank Istel also presents his signature pass-around treats, such as Mini Chocolate Canelé, Petite Tropézienne à la Vanille and Mangue, Lavender-infused Chocolate Lollipops, Madeleine Pistachio Raspberry, Black Truffle Macaron and much more.   • The Signature Afternoon Tea is priced at THB 2,490++ per set for two persons, including selected coffee or tea. It is available daily from 13:00 to 17:00 at 1897 Lounge.
  • The Buffet Afternoon Tea is priced at THB 1,850++ per person, including unlimited tea and coffee. It is available on 5 and 6 April, and every Saturday in May, from 13:00 to 17:00 at Niche Tea Lounge.
