When you thought Dubai couldn’t get any flashier, along comes a new glass-and-gold contender that practically winks at the Burj Khalifa across the skyline.
Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai—Dar Global’s latest swaggering venture with The Trump Organisation—has officially been unveiled, and rest assured, it’s not here to play second fiddle to anyone. Rising 350 metres over Sheikh Zayed Road and shoulder-tapping Downtown Dubai, this 80-storey colossus is part hotel, part residence, part ego—and entirely unmissable.
This is the fifth collaboration between Dar Global and the ever-headlining Trump Organisation, following splashy debuts in Jeddah and Oman. But this one? It’s the region’s very first Trump-branded tower—and it’s dialled up to eleven.
Inside, you’ll find the sort of lavishness that makes Versailles look modest. Expect rooms dripping in opulence, private lounges with marble that probably flew first class, and amenities polished until they squeak. There’s a resident-only resort-style pool with front-row views of the Burj Khalifa, and if that’s not high enough for you, guests can take a dip in what’s now officially the highest outdoor pool on the planet.
Of course, no Trump development would be complete without something exclusive—enter The Trump, an invitation-only private club tucked away inside the tower. Think Champagne, cigars, and murmured investment tips over foie gras. The velvet rope is practically woven from gold thread.
And then there are the penthouses. Good heavens. Modelled after the legendary Fifth Avenue Trump penthouse in New York (where everything’s so gilded it’s a miracle the sunlight doesn’t bounce off and ignite aircraft), these sky-high duplexes feature sweeping glass walls and private sky pools that dare gravity to blink.
Eric Trump, who certainly knows his way around a press release, didn’t disappoint at the launch. “Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai is a project that reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, luxury and innovation,” he said. “We are honoured to partner again with Dar Global to bring this landmark to life.”
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global and no stranger to high-stakes real estate, chimed in with equal enthusiasm: “Dubai’s vibrant economy and strategic location make it a prime destination for global investment. This project gives investors the chance to be part of that growth—and a skyline that never stops climbing.”
Let’s be clear: this tower isn’t just another shiny addition to Dubai’s architectural arms race. It’s an ode to audacity, a vertical love letter to the belief that if it’s not the biggest, tallest, or most luxurious, it’s simply not worth building.
There will be critics, of course. Some might scoff at the excess, the unabashed grandeur, or the unapologetic brand swagger. But in Dubai, a city that measures itself in megawatts and megapixels, Trump International Hotel & Tower fits right in. No, it doesn’t just fit—it poses, pouts, and demands to be photographed.
For those who dream in gold leaf and panoramic views, this isn’t just real estate. It’s a lifestyle with an exclamation point. And in the game of towers, this one’s raising more than just eyebrows—it’s raising the bar.
