Khun Theeraphat will share his expertise on the impact of elephants on Chiang Mai tourism and how Chiang Mai’s tourism industry can play a vital role in supporting elephant conservation. Since founding Patara Elephant Farm in 2001, he has dedicated his life to rehabilitating elephants and educating the public about their welfare. Located in the lush mountains near Hang Dong Valley, the farm is recognized for its ethical approach to elephant care and sustainable tourism practices.
This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into responsible tourism and how we, as industry leaders, can contribute to protecting Thailand’s majestic elephants.
