Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas announces the appointment of Kate Leff as the new Director of Marketing to lead the marketing and promotion of Tropical North Queensland’s largest premium award-winning resort. Along with the promotion of Alina Polishuk to the position of Marketing Manager, the new appointments will grow the resort’s profile and presence to attract domestic and international visitors to the world-heritage listed region.
Kate brings more than 15 years experience in the wellness and hospitality industry with a proven track record in strategic planning, financial management and marketing excellence. Following more than a decade representing some of the industry’s most distinctive wellness properties in South East Asia, including Kamalaya, Amatara, The Barai and Revivo, Kate has relocated to Port Douglas to elevate the unique and compelling elements of the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort.
Kate takes over the role from Deb McDiarmid, who relocated to Sydney to take on the executive leadership role of Area Director of Marketing, Australia New Zealand and Pacific for Marriott International.
