Hotels produce around 289,700 tonnes of waste annually around the world, and so consciousness surrounding where and how amenities and in-room products are sourced and delivered to guests has never been more important. The entire Jaya Organics range is produced by ten Cambodian women who live nearby to the hotel and are contained in beautiful jars and glasses crafted by local artisanal company, Khmer Ceramics.
The new reed diffuser scents include Lemongrass, Jasmine and Kraob – Kraob means “sweet” in Cambodian, and combines locally sourced cinnamon, vanilla, and sandalwood. In addition, the new Kraob candle has been created, made with soy wax and 100% vegan, packaged in beautiful ceramic jars made by local artisans, with a long-lasting burn time of 50-60 hours.

Founded on a commitment to creating opportunities and channelling profits back into it’s local community of Siem Reap, Jaya Organics was founded in 2019 to provide local employment and reduce plastic usage, and was amongst the first to raise the bar for hotel bathroom standards globally.
Jaya Organics is produced in small batches using plants, herbs, roots, flowers and essential oils native to the villages around Siem Reap. The star ingredient of Jaya Organics is antioxidant-rich and vitamin-packed moringa, found only in Southeast Asia. Sulphate-free, paraben-free and cruelty free, Jaya Organics uses 99% glass packaging and comes with a sophisticated reusable pouch. When shipped worldwide, it is packaged with materials recycled from the hotel.
Guests at Jaya House can now experience and purchase these luxurious diffusers and candles directly from the hotel, bringing a piece of their holiday back home with them.
