Hospo superstar Margo’s is taking its fun, Mexican-inspired vibe to the next level with Summer Balcony Session Happy Hours from 4pm to 6pm daily.
The first-floor restaurant features a beautiful balcony perched above Queenstown Mall, one of the buzziest streets in the heart of the resort, top-and-tailed by the Village Green at one end and Lake Wakatipu at the other.
It’s the perfect spot to settle in for a Margarita, sangria or cool beer married with a special Happy Hour menu of shared plates and snacks.
Operating from December 27 until the end of summer, the balcony’s been decked out with colourful (and practical!) umbrellas, and the space is surrounded by lush foliage.
Venue Manager Emma Guthienz says frozen lime or strawberry margaritas are her pick for summer with the option to add a range of flavours from Aperol to Campari or pear to sour apple.
The special Happy Hour menu also includes a range of other margaritas at prices designed to keep the holiday atmosphere rolling.
The Happy Hour food menu features crowd-pleasing favourites such as Three Salsas, Guacamole, Popcorn Cauliflower, Loaded Fries and juicy Ribs.
“Our balcony is going to be the sizzling hotspot of summer, I guarantee you,” says Emma.
