The highlight of this year’s event is a historic gathering of 18 legendary artists from Isan, Northern, Central Thailand, and beyond, showcasing their work in the “Art on Farm” exhibition. Visitors can enjoy pieces by prominent contemporary artist Mit Jai Inn from Chiang Mai and innovative displays by all(zone), a group of Thai Architectural Artists and many more creations from famous artists. Stroll through the art-laden fields where Isan culture merges with nature, turning the farm into a spectacular open-air gallery.
The excitement doesn’t end there! Jim Thompson Farm 2024 also features warm exhibitions and activities waiting for everyone to experience, such as the “Lam Loke” exhibition, unveiling the legend of Mor Lam, which is the heart of Isan culture; “Mor Lam Bus” exhibition, set on a vintage bus transformed into a mobile museum; and “Rice is Life” exhibition, introducing more than 50 varieties of Thai rice (many from Isan), coupled with rice tasting workshops every weekend.
For families with children, take them to enjoy at “Larn Siew Home”, an art path in the midst of the cosmos fields that offers an adventure with charming cartoon characters. You can also scan QR Codes to listen to stories on SoundCloud. Don’t forget to visit the Jim Thompson Silk Pavilion, where you can discover the charm of Thai silk, watch weaving demonstrations, and participate in Mudmee tie-dye workshops with local weavers. And don’t forget to try our delicious local food before you take home some farm souvenirs.
