Norwegian Cruise Line - logoNorwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is preparing to redefine cruise travel with the highly anticipated launch of its newest vessels, the Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, which are set to debut in 2025 and 2026. These ships, part of NCL’s cutting-edge Prima Plus Class, will offer a range of groundbreaking amenities, including innovative spa treatments, immersive gaming zones, and expanded guest experiences designed to captivate every traveller.

From the moment guests step aboard, they will find a host of luxurious enhancements, from cutting-edge wellness facilities to entertainment options that cater to every age group. The ships promise to deliver more than just a vacation; they will provide an unforgettable journey of relaxation, adventure, and indulgence.

Elevated Wellness: The Mandara Spa & Fitness Center

A signature feature of the Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna is the revitalized Mandara Spa and Salon. Masterfully designed by the world-renowned Rockwell Group, the spa will now include an impressive two-story indoor waterfall and a sleek marble staircase that exudes sophistication and tranquillity. The entire space is curated to create an environment of calm, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring tropical destinations.

For wellness enthusiasts, the Aqua and Luna ships will offer a rejuvenating Clay Sauna, which gently exfoliates and detoxifies the skin, leaving guests feeling refreshed and radiant. This new addition joins a suite of existing spa treatments, such as thalassotherapy loungers, which promote muscle relaxation and circulation, and a unique flotation salt pool that allows guests to experience a sensation of weightlessness.

For guests seeking a wellness boost, Norwegian Cruise Line is introducing IV Drip Therapy aboard these vessels. This treatment provides a quick infusion of essential nutrients to improve energy, immunity, and overall well-being, making it a powerful recovery tool for those looking to maximize their time at sea.

Guests will also find that the Thermal Suite, a popular feature on earlier ships, has been expanded. Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna will feature double the number of heated loungers as their Prima Class predecessors, allowing more guests to enjoy stunning ocean views while they relax.

The fully updated Pulse Fitness Center complements the spa and has the latest cardiovascular machines, weight stations, and a dedicated spin studio. Guests can participate in various fitness classes, ranging from yoga and Pilates to high-energy cycling sessions, ensuring there’s something for every fitness level.

Immersive Gaming and Entertainment: Aqua and Luna Game Zone

One of the most anticipated attractions aboard Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna is the all-new Aqua and Luna Game Zone, an evolution of NCL’s famous Galaxy Pavilion and arcade venues. Here, guests of all ages will be immersed in various gaming experiences, from virtual reality adventures to retro arcade classics like Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.

The Aqua and Luna Game Zone promises to be a hub of excitement. It offers virtual reality experiences such as Space Racing and Beat Hero, where players can dance their way to victory with dual swords. Whether guests seek cutting-edge tech experiences or a dose of nostalgia, the Game Zone will have something for everyone.

For those who prefer more traditional games, the Bull’s Eye Bar introduces a new take on dart games, enhanced with modern technology. Here, guests can enjoy a complimentary game of darts while sipping craft cocktails from the full-service bar. The games are equipped with automated scoring and video-game-style graphics projected on a big screen, adding a fun, interactive twist to a classic pub favourite.

In response to guest feedback, NCL has expanded its popular mini-golf offering with Tee Time, a 12-hole interactive course spread across two decks. Themed around the “Wonders of the World,” this larger-than-life mini-golf experience invites players of all ages to test their skills while taking in breathtaking ocean views.

Unmatched Caribbean and Bermuda Itineraries

In April 2025, Norwegian Aqua will embark on seven-day Caribbean itineraries departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Guests can explore some of the region’s most stunning destinations, including Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additionally, the ship will stop at Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas, which is set to debut a new multi-ship pier by the end of 2025.

After its Caribbean season, Norwegian Aqua will transition to Bermuda, offering five- and seven-day sailings from New York City. These itineraries are designed to cater to guests looking for a perfect mix of island relaxation and metropolitan adventure. In October 2025, Norwegian Aqua will shift to Miami, offering Eastern Caribbean voyages through April 2026.

Norwegian Luna, launching in April 2026, will follow a similar Caribbean route, with its inaugural season sailing from Miami. The ship will take guests to Roatan Island in Honduras, Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, and Harvest Caye in Belize—a resort-style destination owned by NCL. Following its Western Caribbean voyages, Norwegian Luna will sail to the Eastern Caribbean, including stops at Puerto Plata, Tortola, and St. Thomas, offering a diverse range of tropical experiences.
