Commenting on his new position, Sfaltos said, “I am excited to join Maybourne as they continue to grow and very much look forward to being part of energetic and creative hotel teams who consistently lead the way in the art of extraordinary hospitality.”

The Berkeley is the essence of contemporary chic. It is beloved by all, from families stepping up for a sweet treat at the first Cédric Grolet patisserie outside France to those seeking an urban retreat in the heart of London.

By contrast, The Emory is London’s first all-suite hotel and a modern architectural masterpiece designed by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour of RSHP. Since opening its doors earlier this year, the hotel has set a new standard of modern luxury. It is fast becoming a favourite destination for guests looking for discreet and personal 5-star service in the capital.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Kostas Sfaltos to our Maybourne family. Kostas brings many years of experience as well as a dynamic approach to hotel management. His experience will help drive the continued success and growth of The Berkeley and The Emory and position them at the forefront of the ultra-luxury landscape in London,” says Roland Fasel, Maybourne’s Chief Operating Officer.
