Signature Travel Network recently held its 2024 Member Appreciation Trip to Cancun and Riviera Maya, recognizing and celebrating 45 member agencies. The trip, held from May 19 to 24, 2024, in partnership with World of Hyatt, showcased the best of the region while emphasizing the importance of community and culture within the Signature Travel Network.
The itinerary allowed members to experience the beautiful regions of Cancun and Riviera Maya, with stays at two premier properties: Impression Moxché by Secrets and Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. Members enjoyed diverse culinary experiences at the resorts’ restaurants and participated in engaging activities such as pickleball and yoga. The trip also included immersive adventures like sailing and snorkeling in the Caribbean, exploring the Rio Secreto caves, visiting the Mayan ruins of Tulum and snorkeling at the Yal-ku inlet, creating a memorable experience that strengthened the bonds within the Signature community.
“Being a part of Signature’s Member Appreciation trip is both an enjoyable and valuable experience,” said Kacie Darden, Owner of Blue Pineapple Travel. “I love the opportunity to spend time with other Signature members and partners in such an extended and open setting. Along with having a great time at both Secrets properties, we also got the chance to experience Rio Secreto, which was an underground cave system where we swam a mile and a half in the darkness. That kind of experience bonded our group of 12 in ways that meetings or dinners never could. I can’t wait for the next one.”
Signature Travel Network’s Member Appreciation Trip was made possible through the support of its esteemed hosts and sponsors, including AIG Travel, Azamara, Classic Vacations, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, Norwegian Cruise Line, Silversea, The Travel Corporation, and Virgin Voyages. Their participation underscores the strong partnerships and collaborative spirit that define the Signature Travel Network.
“During our week in Mexico, everything worked like magic. We had great weather, wonderful properties hosting us and we were in great company,” said Heidi Podjavorsek, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Land & Specialty Supplier Partnerships at Signature Travel Network. “These trips provide our members with the opportunity to experience some of the best Hyatt Inclusive Collection properties in Mexico. The shared travel experiences also allow members to bond with each other, learn about each other’s businesses, share best practices, and connect with the Signature teams.”
