Vietjet and Swissport have reached an agreement to provide services in various sectors of the aviation industry at the Vietnam-Australia Business Forum held in Melbourne, Australia.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Australian Minister, and leaders from Vietnam and Australia congratulated the agreement between Vietjet and Swissport, a leading global provider of aviation services.
Under the agreement, Vietjet and Swissport will partner to provide ground services, logistics operations, cargo terminal services, and infrastructure management at the airports where both parties operate. Swissport will also support and advise Vietjet in developing ground services and aviation services at major airports and managing cargo terminal systems at airports by the highest international standards.
Swissport is currently the world’s largest ground services provider in the aviation sector in terms of revenue and the number of airports served. As of the end of 2023, Swissport has operated at 286 airports in 44 countries. Meanwhile, Vietjet, with its fleet of 105 modern aircraft, operates a network of routes covering Vietnam and destinations worldwide, including Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Hong Kong (China), and Taiwan (China).
In addition to relentlessly expanding its flight network throughout Vietnam and internationally to bring flight opportunities to everyone, Vietjet also develops and provides a diverse range of aviation products, cargo services, and ground services. Today’s agreement with Swissport will further strengthen Vietjet’s air service supply chain, meeting customers’ diverse needs.
