In a remarkable transformation of Townsville’s hospitality landscape, the much-anticipated Ardo hotel is set to open in December, heralding a new era of luxury for the region. The Morris Group’s latest venture, Ardo, is not just another hotel; it’s a statement of elegance and exclusivity, destined to become the jewel in North Queensland’s crown.

The hotel boasts 132 rooms and suites, each a haven of luxury spanning at least 33 square meters. Guests can choose from three themes – Courtyard, Marina, or Ocean – each offering a unique vista and ambience. The suites, ranging from a generous 40sqm to an opulent 107sqm, are akin to private residences, with some featuring curved outdoor baths and wrap-around balconies.

Each element combines cork floors and concrete ceilings to terrazzo surfaces and mosaic-tiled bespoke bathrooms to create an atmosphere of understated elegance. High-tech amenities, including a tablet control centre, Wi-Fi, and streaming services, ensure a seamlessly modern experience.

Dining at Ardo is an adventure, with three gourmet restaurants setting the bar high in Queensland’s culinary scene. Marmor offers contemporary Australian cuisine, drawing inspiration from local meats and seafood. Terasu, a chic Japanese eatery, promises a vibrant twist on traditional dishes. The signature Ardo Rooftop, a serene haven overlooking the Coral Sea, is an idyllic spot for unwinding.
