The menu, meticulously prepared by Executive Chef, Michael Greenlaw and The Ritz-Carlton’s master pâtissiers, features a delicate four-course selection of appetizers, freshly baked scones and an array of sweet and savoury creations. A well thought out journey where each course arrives to the table at the perfect time, the four-course ceremony features time-honoured favourites and seasonal delights such as Oscietra caviar and crème fraiche beignets, smoked confit chicken feuille de brick sandwiches, and Ispahan macarons.
The afternoon tea selections such as Cured line-caught coral trout, whole lemon purée, trout roe and Handpicked mud crab tartlet, toasted almond, Marigold flower speak to The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne’s world-class culinary team’s passion for seasonal and local produce. The reimagination of an Australian icon, Davidson’s Plum Monte Carlo, is also bound to become a set-piece of the menu.
Guests can complement their culinary journey with a choice of seven signature loose-leaf teas by Love Tea, or freshly roasted specialty coffee by Code Black, free-flowing as part of the experience.
