Monteverdi Tuscany, the medieval-era boutique hotel nestled within 22 acres of the Val D’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, proudly announces its new state-of-the-art Wellness Center program. Under the direction of Dr. Maurizio Cavallini, an esteemed practitioner who brings decades of expertise to Monteverdi as Chief Medical Advisor, the program features minimally invasive, science-driven aesthetic and preventative treatments, alongside a year-long Doctor in Residence series, which hosts internationally renowned medical professionals to treat guests on-property.

At the Wellness Center, guests can now experience treatments, such as biological age and oxidative stress testinglifestyle assessmentsmicropuncturebiorevitalization and IV therapy, all while surrounded by the beauty of the Val d’Orcia. Additionally, guests can book appointments with some of the world’s top aesthetic and preventative medical professionals through the property’s new Doctor in Residence series, which hosts esteemed doctors hailing from Rome, Milan, Siena and Florence specializing in Aesthetic Medicine, Aesthetic Dermatology, Trichology, and more.

Monteverdi has also announced new multi-day wellness retreats through its newly renovated Spa. Designed by Monteverdi’s Spa and Wellness team and led by seasoned wellbeing experts, guests can take part in the 3-night Tuscan Tranquility Retreat available year round, or the 7-night Holistic Detox Retreat taking place on November 12-19, 2023. Each of these retreats includes overnight accommodations, diagnostic assessments with doctors and coaches specialized in the art of wellbeing, workshops to improve self-awareness, face and body treatments, guided hikes, culinary experiences from the property’s Chief Culinary Officer Giancarla Bodoni, and more.

As part of the vast amenities offered to all guests of Monteverdi, the Spa offers a bespoke menu of treatments, including ancient Roman inspired warm ceremonies, sensory bathing rituals, Biologique Recherche customized facials, cryotherapy, and the Monteverdi Water Circuit, with warm and cold plunge pools, saunas, sensory showers, and a conservatory.
