Leading eco-travel company Majestic Whale Encounters has announced the launch of a new luxury catamaran trip in Tahiti as part of its global whale swim experiences.
The 62-foot luxury catamaran known as Lagoon 620 is a favourite of the yachting community, and will launch for Majestic Whale Encounters for the first time this September. Taking intrepid but luxury loving travelers on the trip of a lifetime, guests will travel to one of the most beautiful destinations on the planet – Moorea – to embark on an immersive trip that includes not just seeing the best of Tahiti but also its wildlife. The fully inclusive trip offers a week of opportunities to swim with stingrays, black tip sharks, turtles, and the main event – the humpback whales who call Moorea’s waters home during their migration season. Travellers also have the opportunity to see dolphins, pilot whales, eagle rays, and many other marine animals that call Tahiti’s waters home.
The Lagoon 620 catamaran boasts 6 queen cabins, each with private ensuite. Spacious common areas include a dedicated area for sunbathing, and separate dining and lounging areas, with plenty for room for up to 10 guests. On board, guests will be looked after by a dedicated skipper and hostess, with all main meals, soft drinks and tea, coffee, and water included.
A dedicated photographer will lead the tour along with a Majestic whale swim expert, taking guests on daily whale swims, with time also allocated for use of kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkel equipment. Whilst on land on stunning Moorea, the tour will also include a traditional dance and dinner night, and a guided tour of the island on quad bikes.
