As we enter the full blooming months of Spring, Arca Society creates a fragrant tea-themed afternoon spread with an assortment of refreshing and delightful savory and sweet pastries paired with Japanese cha. The restaurant will also entertain with local DJs spinning live every Friday evening, and offer a buy one get one free promotion, so you can let your hair down after a long week.
The set showcases an array of tea infused dishes, carefully crafted by the chef. Highlights include “Pan-Seared Scallops with Earl Grey Tea Oil on Toast,” the aromatic drizzle of oil enhances the freshness and sweetness of the Hokkaido Scallops; “Hojicha Chicken Breast Vol-Au-Vent,” smoked chicken meat using Japanese Hojicha, encased in a delicious light puff pastry to provide that perfect balance in taste and texture. To finish off, the sweets selection includes some classics with a twist “Scones with Clotted Cream and Homemade Earl Grey spread;” & “Hojicha Cheesecake,” both favorites on afternoon tea and elevated with the perfectly matched fragrant tea aroma. “Uji Matcha and Red Bean Cake,” which blends the sweetness of the red bean with matcha, is truly a match made in heaven.
A Japanese tea pairing with three notes of flavors from light to strong is presented with the set. Delve into an afternoon of tea indulgence with this fabulous menu of appetizing small refreshments and soothing brews.
Weekly DJ performances every Friday Happy Hour
Arca Society’s happy hour is daily from 3pm-8pm. Buy one get one free on selected cocktails, wines and sparkling wines, beers and spirits. Guests can also order snacks starting from HK$78*, including: Charcuterie Platter, Gyoza (pork & vegetables dumplings with Korean mayonnaise), Popcorn Chicken, Fish Fingers and baked portobello mushroom with avocado & cheese to name a few. In addition, every Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, talented local DJs will grace the stage to drop some uplifting tunes to get the party mood on.
