On Tuesday this week, Andy Loving from Chimu Adventures teamed up with Flight Centre managers and novices to engage in a unique activity for Flight Centre’s Wellness Week.
The team of eleven took to the waters of the beautiful Sydney harbour for a kayak excursion, an excursion also offered by Chimu Adventures on many of the ships they partner with in Antarctica.
Whilst the outing was not quite as cold as Antarctica, the group were lucky to escape Sydney’s temperamental weather as the excursion was topped and tailed by seasonal downpours. Luckily for the group the heavens cleared just in time, and they all managed to enjoy their stint away from the desk remembering what it is like to be tourists for a few hours.
“We teamed up with FC for Wellness Week as, after such a crazy busy last, year seeing our industry recover, I think it’s important to stop for a second and reflect how far we’ve come! I couldn’t think of a better place to do it than on Sydney Harbour with our Flight Centre partners who we wanted to thank for their support” Said Andy Loving
