Corporate Traveller, the flagship SME business of the Flight Centre Travel Group, is set to launch a brand new ‘Unpacked’ Business Travel Event Series today – with The Points Whisperer Steve Hui headlining the inaugural webinar – followed by an in-person event across multiple states.

The ‘Unpacked’ webinars will offer quick ‘travel hack’ events delivered via a 30-minute webinar, including industry experts speaking on topics related to corporate travel. They are free, interactive, fun, and easy to squeeze into the day – providing the tools to make every journey count.

The ‘Unpacked’ in-person events will provide free deep-dive sessions for travel bookers and decision makers and will be held as a roadshow in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne CBDs. Each event will feature an expert speaker, a panel, and may include demonstrations and discussions.

Mr Hui is the leading authority on maximising the return from reward points for business and is regularly invited to speak at international and local travel conferences and run points workshops for corporates and professional organisations.

“Our ‘Unpacked’ Business Travel Event Series will give insights and credible advice from recognised speakers and market experts – you can’t get more recognisable than industry-leader Steve Hui,” said Australia-based Global Managing Director of Corporate Traveller, Tom Walley.

“Our quarterly ‘Unpacked’ webinars and in-person events will provide timely information to boost business travel savings, showcase all the latest trends, enhance traveller safety, and will provide understanding on sustainability – essentially a one-stop hub for on demand content and live events.”

Mr Walley said if anyone has ever wondered how to collect more points and get more value from their business travel spend – Mr Hui is the main person.

“Steve is someone worth sitting beside on a long-haul flight, but the only issue is that this scenario may never arise as he’s most likely nestled in his business class lie-flat seat, enjoying all the rewards that come with savvy frequent flyer points management. It’s well-worth tuning in.”

Mr Hui said points are more precious than ever after COVID-19, helping people cut down more than $10,000 per ticket.

“The singular most valuable travel skill that will never stop rewarding is learning how to use points for flying,” Mr Hui said.

“Frequent flyer points can be complicated; I’ve simplified my 10 years’ experience into the essential tips that matter in the ‘Unpacked’ series and I’m excited to accelerate everyone to be flying flat.”
