Melco Resorts & Entertainment continues to bring joy and warmth to the Macau community through its signature Simple Acts of Kindness 2.0 volunteering initiative. So far this spring season, in collaboration with its community partner NGOs, nearly 290 Melco volunteer team participants have devoted almost 600 hours to approximately 800 local children, women and elderly beneficiaries.

The wide range of springtime events have included:

  • hair cutting services for elderly beneficiaries of Chong Pak Taipa Center and FAOM Ka Ao Nursery Home;
  • new year snack making workshops with elderlies and children beneficiaries of UGAMM Elderly Caring Service Network and Community Centre “Tamagnini Barbosa” of Macao Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM);
  • CNY rabbit money box making workshops with beneficiaries from UGAMM – Centro Lok Chon and Macau Special Olympic at Kids’ City; and
  • cleaning services for elderly members of Pou Tai Integrated Service Center for Elderly and UGAMM – Cheng I Elderly Integrated Service Center – Cheng Chong Building.

As part of the Company’s annual activities, the Melco volunteer team also visited beneficiaries of its key NGO partners and centers, sending spring blessings to women beneficiaries and seniors at Women’s General Association of Macau, Macau Caritas’ Asilo de Sao Francis Xavier Home for the Aged, Chong Pak Taipa Center, Pou Tai Integrated Service Center for Elderly and UGAMM – Cheng I Elderly Integrated Service Center – Cheng Chong Building.

Volunteers also visited and accompanied children and senior beneficiaries of Escola de S. Jose Ka Ho, Pou Tai Integrated Service Center for Elderly and FuHong Society – Happy Art Studio for craft making workshops, together creating festive Chinese windmills and rabbits to celebrate the spring season.
