Fukuoka Prefecture Tourism Association has relaunched three updated travel training modules for Aussie agents to refresh their knowledge of the Good Vibes on offer in Fukuoka, as travellers flock back to Japan.
The three training modules are available to complete now on the Online Travel Training (OTT) platform.
One to watch, Fukuoka was recently named in Lonely Planet’s ‘Best in Travel List’ for 2023, which showcases 30 global trending and up-and-coming destinations. The only Japanese destination to feature, Fukuoka was heralded specifically for its food scene. Additionally, Fukuoka was also showcased in The New York Times latest ’52 Places to go in 2023’ list, making the prefecture a hot ticket for 2023 and beyond, perfect for Aussie travellers looking to discover one of Japan’s best kept secrets before the crowds.
Located on the northern part of Japan’s southern island of Kyushu, the prefecture is famed for its vibrant food scene including open-air Yatai food stalls, the cosmopolitan city streets and bright lights of Fukuoka City, outdoor adventures including cycling along the stunning coastline and hiking sacred mountains, as well as a multitude of fascinating cultural and historical must-visits sights, such as Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, more than 1,000-years-old.
Easily accessible from Australia and an all-season destination, Fukuoka Prefecture is the perfect alternative to the more well-known regions of Japan, for both repeat travellers looking to explore somewhere new or first-timers seeking a cultural and quintessential Japanese adventure.
The OTT modules cover a variety of Fukuoka Prefecture’s selling points, to give agents the knowledge and information needed to sell the destination, including:
- Module 1: Welcome to Fukuoka
- Module 2: Regions & Highlights of Fukuoka
- Module 3: Fabulous & Fresh (outdoor adventures)
Each module takes about 25 minutes to complete. To win one of four bottles of Fukuoka sake or liquor, agents must have completed all of the three training modules by 3rd March 2023.
Following the incentive, four lucky agents will be drawn at random at the beginning of March. Let the Good Vibes of Fukuoka roll!
