In Michigan, Boyne Mountain Resort is known for its beautiful location, year-round recreation, and continuously innovating and finding new ways to enhance the guest experience. “With our ForeverProject, we focus on reducing our impact at every level of resort operations, and MoonBikes fit our mission of providing environmentally friendly fun.”

MoonBikes, maker of the world’s first fully electric snowmobile, today announces that Boyne Mountain Resort will be the company’s first North American ski resort partner. Boyne Mountain Resort has acquired a fleet of ten MoonBikes offering guests this exciting new way to explore and enjoy winter with guided forest tours.

The fully electric snowbikes weigh less than 200 lbs., are quiet and easy to learn and ride, have zero active emissions, and with the optional second battery (and, depending on snow conditions), offer up to 35 miles of range. The bikes use no gas or oil, require very little maintenance and upkeep, and multiple service locations across the US and Canada offer white glove service.

“MoonBikes were built for fun, approachability and sustainability – all factors that the Boyne Mountain team believes in – and we know MoonBikes are going to create many new memories for their guests.”

Already popular with ski resorts, hotels and tour operators across Europe, MoonBikes was first introduced in North America in late 2020 and has continued gaining momentum and popularity.

“It’s a huge honor to be working with Boyne Mountain Resort,” said Nicolas Muron, MoonBikes Founder and CEO.
