Leading Australasian adventure and lifestyle tourism company, Experience Co, which offers ‘mild to wild’ adventures, has today announced the appointment of Fiona Stillwell as Chief Commercial Officer.
Fiona replaces Kathryn O’Brien who is leaving in February 2023 to join Air New Zealand. In this role, Fiona will report directly to CEO, John O’Sullivan and become a member of the Experience Co Executive team.
Fiona joins Experience Co from Hamilton Island Enterprises where she holds the position of General Manager of Sales and Marketing. During her tenure there, Fiona has held senior roles across reservations, revenue, digital marketing and domestic and inbound sales and driven its post COVID recovery. Fiona is also a board member of Luxury Lodges of Australia.
Fiona’s career spans more than 20 years working for high profile tourism organisations also including Flight Centre and the Hogg Robinson Group.
Ms Stillwell’s appointment is the third commercial appointment made by Experience Co in recent weeks.
In New Zealand, Drew Hamilton has been appointed as Sales Manager NZ, joining from his current role as Director of Sales for AAT Kings in Cairns, where he has spent the past seven years managing key accounts and commercial agreements on behalf of the business.
In his role with Experience Co, Drew will report directly to Fiona with responsibilities for the NZONE, Skydive Wanaka and Skydive Southern Alps brands. A proud New Zealander, Drew will relocate to NZ from Cairns early in 2023. 
Also in NZ, Tom Broe has been promoted to the role of Business Development Manager. Tom has been an integral member of the Experience Co team in NZ since 2014, initially starting in reservations before moving into his current role as Sales Executive. Tom’s new position will see him take more responsibility for the national market in NZ along with selected international markets, predominantly eastern focused.
