The Langham, Sydney is delighted to announce the appointment of award-winning pastry chef, author and television personality, Anna Polyviou to the Kitchens on Kent team as part of a six-month residency.
The residency officially commences 1 January 2023 however Anna is already in-house making her mark with a new menu for The Langham’s Festive Afternoon Tea and other scheduled events in the lead-up to the Christmas and holiday season.
Leading the in-house pastry team as the Executive Pastry Chef, Anna will use her creative flair to design new dessert delights across all areas of the hotel including Kitchen’s on Kent interactive dining experience, afternoon tea, in-room dining, special events and activations.

Anna is recognized as the ‘powerhouse of pastry’ honing her talents in the world’s best kitchens, from London’s famous Claridge’s with the world’s most influential pastry chefs to working with one of the top chocolatier’s Pierre Hermes in Paris, along with some of the top hotels and venues in her home country of Australia.
Her raft of global awards include Dessert of the Year as part of the culinary award of excellence in the UK, to winning the Hotel Chef, and Chef of the Year awards at the Australian hotel industry HM and TAA awards.
