Leading domestic holiday experience provider, Experience Oz has partnered with Sydney Princess Cruises to launch a new booking storefront on Circular Quay, in the lead up to the busy summer tourism season.

A joint investment, the new retail booth is the first Sydney footprint for Experience Oz, and powered by the brand’s B2B Local Agent platform, will offer travellers a space to book over 150 Sydney experiences, supporting over 115 tourism suppliers.

The retail opening follows a successful start to 2022 for Experience Oz, who have seen a year-on-year increase in bookings of 112% for Sydney experiences. The booth is expected to further support this growth as the first travel retail space to return to the iconic Circular Quay, since pre-pandemic.

The booking booth is expected to improve accessibility and convenience for tourists around Sydney Harbour looking to undertake experiences. This includes highlighting landmark attractions and activities such as SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, Taronga Zoo and OZ Jet Boating, as well as providing curated experience recommendations for those visiting Sydney.

Experience Oz Local Agent General Manager, Clint Gudenswager, comments:
“We are really excited to bring back in-destination experiences and in-journey travel for travellers and tourists in time for the warmer seasons. Partnering with Sydney Princess Cruises and opening in the iconic Circular Quay will help travellers experience Sydney and make their holiday extraordinary.

“The retail opening marks an optimistic moment in the recovery of Sydney’s tourism and experience market. The past couple of years have been incredibly tough on the experience economy, but we’re bullish about the bounceback, and with this retail footprint, proud to support our supply community.”

Sydney Princess Cruises Operations Manager, Erin Kiely, says:

“Having been a tour operator here in Sydney for over 20 years, we are so thrilled to be partnering with Experience Oz on this new business venture in Circular Quay.

“We have found that even with the vast availability of travel information online, visitors are actively seeking out that face to face interaction on what to see and do in Sydney. The iconic Circular Quay is often one of the first stops for travellers and tourists when arriving in Sydney so is the perfect location for our first retail opening.

“This retail storefront represents a real opportunity in providing direct engagement with travellers seeking local insights and as such promoting all the amazing tourism products and services that Sydney has to offer!”
