Monster Energy and Thredbo are excited to announce a new two-day event happening this weekend with non-stop snowboarding and dj parties, hosted by Olympian Tess Coady. To top it off, the weekend will also play host to the third and final First Base après party, with The Jungle Giants taking to the stage for a highly-anticipated DJ set.
- Thredbo Resort is gearing up for one of its biggest event weekends ever, kicking off this Friday and Saturday with Bush Doof presented by Monster Energy, followed by the highly-anticipated First Base ft. The Jungle Giants après ski party on Saturday night.
- Hosted by Thredbo Ambassador & Olympic medallist Tess Coady, Bush Doof will see some of the world’s best snowboarders descend on Thredbo for two days of high-energy snowboarding and parties, with a particularly high quality female line-up including Zoi Sadowski Synott and Mia Brookes.
- On Saturday, The Jungle Giants are set to headline this winter’s third and final First Base après ski party, closing out what has been one of the most successful event series in Thredbo’s calendar to date.
Bush Doof presented by Monster Energy
As if the winter calendar wasn’t big enough already, Thredbo has teamed up with Monster Energy to announce Bush Doof, a brand new event running from 2 – 3 September featuring two days of non-stop snowboarding and DJ parties. Hosted by Thredbo Ambassador and Olympic Snowboarder Tess Coady, Bush Doof will see a range of the world’s best snowboarders including Zoi Sadowski Synott, Mia Brookes and Tiarn Collins descend on Thredbo to compete in an invite-only rail jam. With Merritts Gondola spectator passes available to purchase online now, everyone is invited to come along to watch the pros and then have a shred before finishing up a great day with DJ set from Northeast Party House and a huge afterparty.
First Base ft. The Jungle Giants: A Vintage Après Ski Soirée presented by Canadian Club
Saturday 3 September will see everyone’s favourite après ski party return to The Alpine Bar and if it’s anything like the last two First Base events in Thredbo, it’ll be huge. Headlined by The Jungle Giants and hosted by lovers of music and alpine life, Tom Tilley, Harvey M and Hugo Gruzman, Thredbo’s third and final First Base event for the year is not to be missed. Turn up to the fire burning in your vintage après outfits before enjoying a smooth mix of throwback tunes followed by a DJ set from one of the hottest live acts in the country.
With snow in the forecast and an incredible line-up of events planned, this weekend will see Thredbo Resort kickstart September in a big way.
