A temporary visa allows you to work in the UK legally. Usually, this is applied by workers in charities, the entertainment industry, sportspeople, and diplomatic workers. They are required to have a job offer from their licensed sponsors for them to qualify for a temporary work visa. However, if you are from a country that comes under the Youth Mobility Scheme, you can enter the UK without any job offers.

It was first called the Tier 5 visa which is now replaced with changes in the UK’s immigration system. If you would like to apply for a temporary work visa and is not familiar with the changes, you may ask for advice from a lawyer of immigration. With these new changes, EU citizens are also required to apply for a short-term visa.

If you are on a temporary work visa, you are only allowed to take limited jobs. Someone who is under this type of visa is not allowed to work for more than 12 hours.
