Desaru Coast Destination Resort (“Desaru Coast”) celebrates the commencement of ferry services connecting Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal with Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal on 7 July 2022 by launching a series of fun-filled daycation and stay packages inclusive of return ferry tickets.
With daycations starting from RM378 / SGD118, guests can look forward to Desaru Coast experiences such as golf on the fairways of its world-class courses, resort-style dining at any of the destination’s restaurants and spending the day at its pristine beaches or having a splash at its waterpark. For guests looking beyond an action-packed day trip, the destination will also offer unforgettable staycation packages starting at RM2379 / SGD743, which include hotel stays and an array of Desaru Coast activities. All new packages come with return ferry tickets.
Recognised in 2021 as one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places, Desaru Coast is nestled against 17km of pristine beachfront and home to four globally renowned hotels, two world-class golf courses and the region’s largest adventure waterpark. More recently, three of Desaru Coast’s properties were listed in the Top 10 as Best Beach Resorts in Malaysia in Travel + Leisure’s inaugural Asia’s Best Awards 2022.
Visitors from Singapore can look forward to a safe and seamless holiday experience close to home, while international travellers to Singapore can easily hop on a ferry to add a luxury beach holiday as part of their travel itinerary.
“The new ferry service now offers a reliable, fast and convenient cross-border connectivity from Singapore. With this, we hope to see a greater volume of international tourists enjoy the destination and the wider south-eastern region of Johor to drive tourism for the state. For Desaru Coast, as an international destination, we are pleased to offer packages that are unique to Singapore as well as travellers flying into the region,” Roslina Arbak, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Desaru Development Holdings One Sdn. Bhd. expressed.
“To commemorate this highly anticipated ferry service, we have curated some of our best experiences into day packages with return ferry tickets for day-trippers from neighbouring Singapore to come in and spend an unforgettable day at our destination. In 90 minutes, guests can arrive at the doorstep of Desaru Coast to enjoy the activities, beaches, amenities and dining options the destination has to offer. For guests who want to stay a few nights at our five-star resorts, we offer comprehensive stay packages with room nights, Desaru Coast experiences and return ferry tickets,” Roslina adds.
Further to the newly introduced day packages, in conjunction with the much easier connectivity to the destination for golfers, The Els Club Desaru Coast announced special three-month promotion for its popular Golf Privilege Pass. Singaporean and international golfers can enjoy 355 days of golf at both Ocean and Valley Courses for RM10800 / SGD3375 rather than its usual rate of RM13800 / SGD4313.
Desaru Coast will be further introducing more activity-driven day packages including spa and brunch packages at its four world-class resorts and cycling packages for enthusiasts who want to experience the iconic Desaru routes recently used for the L’Étape by Tour de France and the upcoming Desaru Coast Multi-Sports Festival presented by Ironman.
Desaru Coast’s plethora of amenities and activities can be easily booked on desarucoast.com or via Desaru Coast Concierge, which can be reached via phone (+60197912217) and email ([email protected]), from 30 June 2022.
