An expedition voyage in Alaska, a boutique sea adventure in Hawaii and a journey through the Rockies have been combined into a new, bucket-list-ticking, three-in-one cruise and tour holiday for 2023 by Australian small ship cruising specialist, Cruise Traveller.
Offering the exclusive, new package in partnership with deep-nature, small ship cruise line, UnCruise Adventures, Cruise Traveller is offering earlybird savings of A$5170 per couple and A$2970 for solo travellers for bookings made by June 30, 2022.
Ideal for restless Australians keen to explore the world again and make up for lost time, the 21-night, two cruise and one land tour package starts on April 15, 2023, with a night in Seattle and a flight to Juneau, Alaska, to board the intimate, 76-guest UnCruise Adventures ship, Wilderness Discoverer, for a seven-night, no-queue and no congestion, deep-nature expedition voyage through the more remote wilds of Alaska.
Unlike Alaskan voyages offered by large cruise liners, the journey aboard Wilderness Discoverer will take adventure-thirsty guests closer to the mighty glaciers, peaks and forested, bear and moose-dotted shores of Alaska, with visits to isolated, indigenous Tlingit villages and a rare two days spent amongst the pristine majesty of famous Glacier Bay. Guests can soak in the scenery from the vessel’s two hot tubs and use onboard kayaks for adventures on the water with guided forest hikes also offered.
“The Alaska voyage I enjoyed with UnCruise Adventures a few years ago was easily one of the most amazing expedition cruises I’ve experienced in my 23 years in the industry,” said Cruise Traveller Managing Director, Craig Bowen. “The spectacular scenery is incredible and close up and the abundant wildlife was amazing. Life-changing you could say!”
Back in Juneau after the cruise, guests fly to Calgary for a five-night land tour of the Rockies including two nights in Calgary and three in Banff, with a horseriding excursion and visits to spectacular Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.
Guests then fly from Calgary to Honolulu for a night’s stay before a flight to the island of Molokai for an idyllic seven-night cruise aboard UnCruise Adventures’ barefoot-relaxed, 36-guest Safari Explorer amongst the tropical islands of Hawaii, including Lanai, Oahu, Maui and the ‘Big Island’ of Hawaii. Guests have free use of the boat’s kayaks, paddleboards, inflatable skiffs and snorkel equipment for fun on the turquoise water. Hikes ashore are offered as well as a traditional feast and Hawaii music session with local islanders.
A flight from the island of Hawaii back to Honolulu ends the destination-rich holiday.
Including hotel accommodation, connecting flights in North America and Hawaii, touring in the Rockies, the two cruises, onboard beverages and adventure activities offered by UnCruise Adventures, the 21-night Alaska, Rockies and Hawaii package is available from A$19,795 per person, twin-share – a saving of A$2585 or A$5170 per couple. Solo fares are available from A$26,890 – a saving of A$2970. Book by June 30, 2022. Flights from Australia are extra. The package is subject to availability and conditions apply.
