Spreading its wings further in India, Vietjet Thailand has successfully inaugurated its latest international service connecting Phuket and Mumbai. The launch of this new route marks another milestone in the airline’s expanding Indian network, offering travelers greater convenience between Thailand’s most popular island and India’s largest metropolis.

On August 14, 2025, Vietjet Thailand marked the inaugural Phuket – Mumbai service with a celebration at Phuket International Airport, where departing passengers received special gifts at the check-in counter and captured a commemorative photo session, creating a memorable send-off for the first travelers on this route before Flight VZ762 departed for Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

On August 15, 2025, Vietjet Thailand marked the inaugural Mumbai – Phuket service with a celebration at Phuket International Airport. Flight VZ763 departing Mumbai and landing in Phuket. Upon arrival, passengers were warmly welcomed at the arrivals gate with gifts and traditional floral garlands from the airline, reflecting Thailand’s hospitality.

In the early stage, the Phuket – Mumbai route is operated with four weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Flight VZ762 departs Phuket at 22:10 and arrives in Mumbai at 01:05 the following day, while the return flight VZ763 departs Mumbai at 02:05 and lands in Phuket at 08:20 (all local times).

Mumbai is India’s biggest city and a major center for business and entertainment. It is known for famous places like the Gateway of India and Marine Drive, as well as its busy markets and delicious food. Mumbai is also home to Bollywood, India’s film industry, making it a lively and exciting city to visit.
