Latest search data from Booking.com reveals an up to 72% increase in accommodation searches from Australian travellers for Singapore as Gaga tickets went up for sale, with Aussie monsters cementing Australia as the number one inbound group of travellers searching for accommodation in Singapore over this period worldwide.

Concert tourism continues to shape global travel patterns, and the data indicates the ‘Lady Gaga effect’ on Singapore’s incoming holidayers.  Key search data highlights:

  • The increase in interest is mainly driven by travellers within the APAC region, apart from the United Kingdom coming in 5th across all markets globally.
  • Visitors from Australia showed the largest increase in accommodation searches (around 72%) as compared to the same period in 2024*.
  • This effect is not only limited to international visitors, with Singaporeans also contributing to a close to 10% increase in accommodation searches during this period as fans turn concerts into multi-day experiences.
