Following the success of its long-lasting ‘quat-based disinfectant which kills 99.99% of bacteria for up to 30 days, the Australian producer of cleaning and anti-bacterial products, Wondershield, today announced the launch of its new infection-prevention system called Wonderpods.
“Wonderpods’s mission is to give small businesses the tools to disinfect their premises more effectively without having to fork out thousands of dollars for commercial sprayers and foggers,” says; Sid Bedre, the Co-founder, and CEO of Wondershield. He further added that there had to be a more effective alternative to most conventional commercial cleaning options, which only “flash-kill” germs in the short term, but potentially expose people to further contamination just a few minutes after use.
The ‘Wonderpods disinfection system’ comes equipped with an easy-to-use electrostatic sprayer, along with disposable pods ‘prefilled’ with Wondershield’s long-lasting quat-based disinfectant. This ingenious bundling of a disinfectant and a commercial sprayer in a seamless cartridge-like adaptation is also the first of its kind anywhere in the world.
Furthermore, Wondershield’s hospital-grade disinfectant has also been listed by the TGA for being effective against COVID-19. It also offers up to 30 days of antibacterial surface protection once applied, reducing the need for further applications throughout the day.
What’s also more remarkable is that the Wonderpods starter kit is priced at around just $249 AUD compared to most other commercial cleaning systems costing thousands of dollars, making it a more affordable option for small businesses.
