If you’ve ever wondered what the remote gorges of the Mlawula and Mbuluzi look like in the North East of Eswatini, this is your opportunity to get deep into these magnificent, wild areas on foot and see it for yourself. Witness the incredible views from high on the Lubombo Plateau across the Swazi lowveld to the west, and the Mozambican coastal plain to the east. You will discover beautiful and rugged scenery along with remote gorges and hidden valleys.
This area of Eswatini is one of the most untouched places, not only in the country, but on earth. Very rarely visited, the natural beauty of the Lubombos offers amazing birding, archeology and history through the journey.
The tour begins with a delightful evening at the newly built Mhlumeni Bush Camp. where you will spend your evening around campfires exchanging stories with the local guides and learning about the night sky. The remote nature of this land provides the benefit of no light pollution and incredible panoramic stargazing.
