The Academy of International Extended Reality (AIXR) has announced the finalists for the fifth International VR Awards, naming Virtualware, a unique company mastering Virtual Reality since 2004 finalist in the “Innovative VR company of the Year” category.The VR Awards is at the centre of recognition and celebration of outstanding achievement in VR.

Combined with year-round international initiatives, the VR Awards brings together a night of red carpet
highlights, the celebration of excellence and unique access to the world’s most influential names in immersive technology.

This year the VR Awards will be celebrating its 5th anniversary of gathering the globe’s biggest innovators to recognize ground-breaking projects that redefined the immersive world. The ceremony will be experienced virtually, allowing millions the opportunity to join the special 5th International ceremony from a browser, phone or VR headset.

Experts in various sectors of VR, from academics, journalists, and creative directors to founders and C-Suite executives make up the judging panel in categories such as hardware, gaming, film, social VR, marketing, and more. Virtualware has been shortlisted for the third time at VR Awards, taking part of a group of innovative companies with Cleanbox Technology, DARK BAY GmbH, eyeora VR, InnerspaceVR, Resolution Games, SENSORIUM, Virtualware, Yarn Corporation.
