Michelle Black, Viking’s Managing Director ANZ said she was pleased to be able to open select 2022 voyages and provide more choice for agents and their clients.

“We continue to work hard to support our guests, staff and travel partners during these turbulent times. But we’re also looking ahead to a future when our travel dreams once again become reality,” she said.

“We’re busy building new ships, creating new itineraries and planning new on-shore experiences, so that when your clients are ready to travel once more, they’ll have more choice than ever.”

“Together with Viking’s risk-free booking guarantee, the ability to plan ahead into 2022 provides added peace of mind for your clients.” she concluded.

Deployment details for six Viking ocean ships from October 2021 to October 2022 have been released, sailing Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and Alaska. In addition to the two new itineraries – Amazon & Caribbean Adventure and Canada & New England Scenic Shores – Viking has released 2022 departures for ever-popular voyages such as the 15-day Viking Homelands, 13-day Iceland’s Majestic Landscapes and 11-day Russia & The Baltic Sea.

Meanwhile the majority of the line’s most popular river itineraries in Europe are also now available to book up to December 2022, including the 15-day Grand European Cruise, 13-day Waterways of the Tsars itinerary and 10-day Portugal’s River of Gold.

In addition, the recently launched Viking Mississippi and Viking Expeditions to the Arctic, Antarctic and Great Lakes provide opportunities for Australians and New Zealanders to plan their travels into 2023.

No matter where in the world they sail, Viking’s small and spacious ships will deliver a safe and comfortable experience. Sleek and modern, the award-winning fleet boasts all-outside staterooms, wide corridors and plenty of space. With no more than 930 guests, guests will never feel they’re in a crowd.
