TRIPS by Culture Trip responds to traveler demands for more meaningful travel with its new lineup of itineraries anchored by hyper-local activities for 2022. Launched in September 2021, TRIPS by Culture Trip is a collection of small-group adventures that help people experience extraordinary destinations in unexpected ways. Curated by travel experts and led by Local Insiders who know the destination inside out, the multi-day itineraries combine unique places to stay with hyper-local experiences and immersive activities — and hidden gems that travelers might not be able to discover otherwise.
With the world opening up again for travelers comes the opportunity to experience it in new ways. In fact, one in four Americans don’t want to travel as they did before the pandemic but rather in a more meaningful way, reveals a representative survey* of 2,000 Americans by TRIPS by Culture Trip. The new collection of itineraries responds to post-pandemic desires to explore the world in a different way, featuring hand-picked, once-in-a-lifetime experiences that allow travelers to not just visit but connect with a place, its people, and its culture.

The park has one of the highest densities of leopards in the world with plenty of elephants, monkeys, and crocodiles. Equally memorable will be seeing herds of wild elephants in Minneriya National Park, visiting a rural village school to learn about Sri Lankan education, and attending a dancing school in Lankathilaka, where a generational dancing master will teach the ancient art of dance in his own backyard. 12-day trip from $2,039** per person

After three days of island-hopping, kayaking, hiking through the jagged ridges of this spectacular Tolkien-esque landscape, discovering ancient stone circles and nature spots such as Fairy Pools, travelers visit Carloway Mill. This non-profit enterprise is set in the world’s oldest Harris Tweed Mill and offers the opportunity to meet skilled weavers who work with machinery dating back to 1892. 7-day trip from $3,089** per person
