Luxury expedition cruise pioneer, Abercrombie & Kent, has released its new portfolio of expeditionary voyages which deliver unscripted adventures on exclusively chartered state-of-the-art vessels with award-winning programmes of discovery to a diverse array of destinations.

A&K’s long-standing reputation for innovative and pioneering expeditionary cruising has been built over 30 years and with more than 300 successfully completed voyages there is no more authentic or refined experience. The execution of each journey is entrusted to A&K’s award-winning Expedition Team who are hired for their unparalleled experience, many of them having led voyages for decades. They are accomplished explorers in their own right and their enthusiasm and expertise adds an unforgettable dimension to every expedition.

The new collection includes luxury polar expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic, the Northwest Passage and more culturally focused expeditions to Japan, the Baltic, Italy, the Greek Isles, and Australia’s own Kimberley coast. On every expedition, guests cruise in incomparable A&K style on the finest small ships, with curated shore excursions, expert on-board lectures and enrichment programs, special events and exquisite dining.

“Expeditionary cruising is becoming an ever more significant part of A&K’s business”, says Regional Managing Director Sujata Raman. “In the past year, we’ve seen strong growth across all destinations with sales up 38% year on year. While Antarctica and the Arctic remain perennial favourites, Japan and Greece are the front-runners in terms of growth and for the first time this year, we operated an exclusive voyage through the Kimberley which was reported by guests to be an eye-opening and life-changing experience, and one we’ll be repeating next year.”
