Guests can now tailor-make their own combination of afternoon tea set treats from The Lounge’s wide array of sweets and savouries at New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel.

A total of 10 delights can be chosen from a selection of six desserts and four savouries for a personalised mix-and-match afternoon tea.  Pastry Chef Daniel Law has created a tempting range of sweet treats including Raspberry Red Velvet Cake, Apricot Chestnut Mousse, Black Forest Roll, Cranberry Walnut Tart, Blueberry Cheese Cake, as well as English Scone with handmade fruit jam and Devonshire clotted cream.

For savouries, highlights include Slow-Cooked Charcoal Salmon Roll, Iberian Ham with Semi-Dried Tomatoes and Brioche, and Smoked Duck with Caramelised Apple and Black Truffle. Each afternoon tea set automatically comes with an Abalone and Chicken Tart as a tasty add-on.

The Weekend Afternoon Teas are extra special with additional premium items on the menu, including Bacalhau Ball with Duck Foie Gras, Teriyaki Wagyu Beef Burger, and Seafood Vol-au-Vent with Black Truffle.

The afternoon tea set also comes with a choice of coffee, tea or herbal infusion. Guests can opt to upgrade the drink to a glass of cold brew coffee at HKD58. In addition, guests can enjoy an extra glass of Villa Sandi Prosecco “Il Fresco” Brut N.V. DOC at HKD58.

Available from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., the weekday afternoon tea set is priced at HKD278 per person and HKD478 per two persons, while the weekend afternoon tea set is priced at HKD338 per person and HKD578 per two persons. Prices exclude 10% service charge.
