THAI launches NON-STOP flights from Sydney to Phuket, 3 times a week from 8 December 2021!
Thai Airways International is very pleased to announce the introduction of non-stop services between Sydney and Phuket, Thailand, three times each week starting from 08 December 2021. Flight TG478 departs Sydney every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 0930hrs and arrives in Phuket at 1440 hours. Flight TG478 departs Phuket every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 1850hrs and arrives back in Sydney the following morning at 0730hrs.
Special introductory fares start from $699 return for Economy Class and from $2,668 return for Business Class. Sale ends 31 October 2021; travel until 26 March 2022. The current promotional fare also includes fares to Asia and Europe. See thaiairways.com for details.
PHUKET Stopover bonus: travelers purchasing tickets to Europe can travel via the non-stop Phuket service and include a free stopover on the journey to or from Europe.
THAI has also announced an increase in flights between Sydney and Bangkok from 17 November 2021, with four weekly flights operating non-stop. They have rescheduled flight TG476 to depart at 1450hrs, arriving in Bangkok at 2015hrs with connections to evening flights to Europe and Asia. Flight TG475 returns from Bangkok at 0800hrs, arriving in Sydney at 2120hrs the same evening.
Flights to/from Melbourne and Bangkok are expected to resume in April 2022.
The adjusted schedule falls in line with the recently announced opening of the Thai border to Australian passport holders, allowing quarantine exemption from 01 November 2021.
Other flight schedule adjustments coming into effect from October to January will be:

  2. Bangkok – Phuket – Frankfurt (v.v.): three flights per week every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
  3. Bangkok – Munich – Phuket – Bangkok: one flight per week every Friday, starting on 1 January 2022
  4. Bangkok – Phuket – Paris (v.v.): twice-weekly flights every Tuesday and Thursday.
  5. Bangkok – Phuket – Copenhagen (v.v.): one flight per week every Thursday.
  6. Bangkok – Phuket – Stockholm (v.v.): one flight per week every Friday.
  7. Bangkok – Zurich – Phuket – Bangkok: one flight per week every Friday.

Intercontinental (return flights):

  1. Bangkok – London: four flights per week every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
  2. Bangkok – Frankfurt: four flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
  3. Bangkok – Munich: one flight per week every Sunday, starting 1 January 2022.
  4. Bangkok – Paris: one flight per week every Sunday.
  5. Bangkok – Brussels: twice-weekly flights every Wednesday and Friday.
  6. Bangkok – Milan: twice-weekly flights every Thursday and Saturday, starting 1 January 2022.
  7. Bangkok – Copenhagen: twice-weekly flights every Wednesday and Sunday.
  8. Bangkok – Stockholm: twice-weekly flights every Tuesday and Thursday.
  9. Bangkok – Zurich: twice-weekly flights every Monday and Wednesday (operating one flight per week from 31 October – 31 December 2021).
