With the significant churn of travel agents in the retail travel sector because of the impact Covid19 and state border closures have played, wholesalers, travel, cruise, and tourism operators are left with travel agent databases that are obsolete and lack critical data to assist with sales, marketing and distribution.

Poor quality data poses several consequences, including the loss of revenue-making opportunities, inefficiencies in the business with re-validating the data a time-consuming and costly exercise, and poor decision making because of incomplete or unreliable data.

They took unless proactive measures to replenish your database, data decay sets in, and what is left is an underperforming asset that will not serve sales and marketing purposes.

Recognizing this widespread problem affecting travel and tourism suppliers, em creative/digital (Enterprise Marketing), a tourism specialist marketing agency, uses tools underpinned by Google in its Embrace Interactive customer engagement platform that can create a fresh lens on travel agent recipients.

“Our immersive and engaging customer engagement platform not only delivers rich marketing content, but we can design forms which capture the important information about your users that you need to know,” said Joe Cristaudo, Managing Director of em creative/digital.

Embrace Interactive works as a replacement or supplement to printed brochures,z but with the added benefit of it being digital, shareable, and trackable via Google Analytics. It seamlessly links with a website and acts as a lead-generating tool helping you get to know the user more extensively than offline measures,” Cristaudo added.

“Whether it’s used as a B2B training tool or as a B2C marketing piece, our solution will help deliver a superior brand experience besides curating the data you need to know about the user. You’ll be in the driving seat to act more strategically upon your business decisions,” Cristaudo said.

In recent months, Keith Prowse Travel, Geelong Tourism, and Horizon have successfully deployed Embrace Interactive.

“With Covid19 disrupting the traditional flow of communication and distribution in the travel value chain, we see our digital solution to help travel and tourism suppliers cut costs and manage their marketing with greater impact and accountability,” Cristaudo concluded.
