Following StayWell Holdings’ successful collaboration with leading global wellness app Caravan Wellness for Wellness Month in August, the hotel group has announced an extension of the partnership.

The ongoing partnership will see StayWell guests enjoy complimentary access to the Caravan Wellness app until the end of year (2020). With 2020 proving a difficult one for many of us, Caravan Wellness’ extensive catalogue of breathing exercises, calming programs, and fitness for all levels are designed to assist people in feeling calmer and more centred.

In room, guests will be given free access to hundreds of video programs available through the app, which have been designed by leading health practitioners to assist those in getting healthier and fitter. The app also offers immunity boosting tricks, and tips for reducing stress and anxiety, as well as wellness workouts including a morning movement class, Pilates, yoga and barre, which can all be completed in the comfort of a hotel room – and then from home, or anywhere for the rest of the year.

Using information collated during Wellness Month, StayWell is also offering an in room Caravan Wellness TV channel. The in room video selection includes those videos from the Caravan Wellness app that were most popular among those who stayed during the month of August, when the initial partnership took place. Key video content includes relaxation, breathing, and soft movement.

StayWell Holdings Global Director of Revenue Generation, Fiona Godfrey, said the ongoing partnership is demonstrative of not only the success of Wellness Month, but also guest demand for wellness whilst away.

“Coming off the back of the successful launch of Wellness Month across our hotels, we are excited to be able to continue to offer wellness initiatives to our guests, such as free access to the Caravan Wellness app, for the remainder of the year. We believe that now more than ever, it is crucial to support our guests and their wellbeing, and we can’t think of a better way of doing so than giving them access to a global leader in wellness.”

“With many of us looking for ways to spend time away from the confines of our homes in order to focus on our physical and mental health, the extension of the Caravan Wellness app across StayWell properties makes perfect sense.”

The Caravan Wellness team are equally excited with the ongoing partnership, with Lisa Wang, Co-Founder and Head of Global Business Development saying, “We are excited to build a strong partnership with StayWell and look forward to seeing how the extension of the partnership can further impact StayWell guests’ health and happiness. Even just trying Caravan for a few days, guests can experience the benefits of wellness instantly.”
