Six Senses Zil Pasyon adds a fun and quirky twist to experiences for little guests by introducing new amenities to the Grow With Six Senses program. On a peaceful tropical island, with diverse and lush natural surroundings and with so much to explore, Félicité becomes a home away from home, with an array of educational yet fun activities for youngsters to experience. The program aims to offer a holistic approach to their development intellectually and spiritually, while further connecting with their family and themselves.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon gives a new meaning to Grow With Six Senses with its new plantable colored pencils. After finishing up artwork projects, children can plant their pencils which will grow into an herb or flower. At the end of each colored pencil is a seed in a water-soluble casing, that will sprout once planted and watered. There are six different colors available which hide seeds that will grow into basil, chia, coriander, daisies, forget-me-nots and carnations.

A storybook was created by Penelope Kirkland, the in-house Grow With Six Senses manager, which focuses on educating little guests on the sustainability projects that are running on the island. The story introduces its readers to the two island mascots, namely Anna, the turtle, and Steve, the tortoise. Anna and Steve, in their own simple way, explain water desalination, composting, coral restoration and zero-waste, to name a few. The book was illustrated by a local artist and has many interactive pages that include games and puzzles together with lots of coloring.

The program would not be complete without a backpack for the youngsters to explore the island and take back home. Penelope said, “The idea behind designing these backpacks was to highlight as many treasures of Félicité as possible so the children can take more memories home. These include coconut trees, Coco de Mer, snorkels, fruit bats and many more that are made from recycled materials by a company in South Africa who contribute to local charities with each purchase. There are many colors to choose from, it’s practical for travel and it has useful pouches suitable for water bottles, books and pencils.”

At Six Senses Zil Pasyon, younger guests are presented with a comprehensive menu of outdoor activities within the Grow With Six Senses program, which they can explore more of the island of Félicité and at the same time discover more about the resort and what hosts are doing each day. They can shadow a chef and get a behind-the-scenes culinary experience, learn local Creole dances, set out on a sustainability tour, try their hand at coconut bowling on the beach, check their ice cream knowledge with blind-folded ice cream tasting, go on a beach scavenger hunt – the list goes on.

All the items, along with Six Senses Zil Pasyon metal water bottles are available in La Boutik (boutique) for those who wish to take gifts and a small piece of Félicité home with them.

For those traveling with children from now through October 31, 2019, Six Senses Zil Pasyon has launched the Family Diary offer, which extends 20 percent savings on its two-bedroom pool villas with a complimentary upgrade to an all-inclusive meal plan and complimentary daily Grow With Six Senses activities.
