SeaLink WA Acquires Swan Valley Tours
SeaLink WA, part of the SeaLink Travel Group of companies has acquired Swan Valley Tours, the leading boutique bus tour provider in the Swan Valley wine region on the outskirts of Perth, Western Australia.
The strategic asset acquisition will see the company deliver around 20,000 visitors to the region each year, while further expanding the Group’s footprint in the state, following the recent acquisition of Go West.
The acquisition comes in the same month SeaLink Travel Group secured a spot in the S&P Dow Jones/ASX200 index (ASX200) September 2021 rebalance.
The assets purchased by SeaLink WA include Swan Valley Tour’s three touring vehicles, website and a strong brand that has championed tourism in the Swan Valley for over two decades according to SeaLink CEO, Clint Feuerherdt.
“With the majority of Swan Valley Tours’ day trips already linking with our Swan River wine cruises operated by SeaLink’s the acquisition continues our strong connection to the Swan Valley and promotion of the region to visitors and locals alike,” he said.
A multi award-winning tourism provider, Swan Valley Tours offers daily indulgence wine tours of the Swan Valley with Swan River cruise options – showcasing the region’s variety of world-class wines and wineries, beers, cider, chocolate, cheese and gourmet food.
Mr Feuerherdt said acquisitions that complement the core business are a key pillar in their growth strategy.
