Raffles Hotel Singapore invites guests to an escapade in beautiful Madrid, as the next thematic Afternoon Tea experience at The Grand Lobby arrives in the beguiling capital city of Spain. Embrace the vibrance of a Spanish summer through the Madrid Afternoon Tea experience from 21 June to 31 August 2021 and treat yourself to delightful savoury and sweet Spanish creations, before the gastronomic journey adjourns to another exciting city of the world.

Amidst the grandeur of The Grand Lobby, guests can feast on a moreish selection of exquisite savouries including Grilled Pulpo Bocadillo, a Spanish-style sandwich with lightly charred, tender octopus encased in crusty bread; De Calamares, a tasty dish of traditional crispy fried calamari; and Ibérico Ham with Coca Cristal Bread, rich and aromatic Ibérico cuts served with a side of delicate yet crisp flat bread.

To sweeten the experience, Executive Pastry Chef Tai Chien Lin has created an inspired assortment of exceptional desserts, from the likes of Rosquillas, classic crispy and fluffy Spanish donuts, to Turrón, an indulgent soft almond nougat candy, to a deeply decadent and deliciously crispy Spanish Churros with Chocolate, alongside buttery home-baked scones. Pair these rich treats and Spanish delights perfectly with a choice of Mariage Frères premium tea or the Raffles custom-blended coffee.

The Madrid Afternoon Tea experience is priced at S$88++ per guest and will be offered alongside the signature Classic Afternoon Tea. The thematic experience is part of The Grand Lobby’s afternoon tea offering, where guests are taken on an evocative journey to revel in the unique culinary flavours of selected distinctive cities around the world.
