With Australians booking cruises further in advance to make up for lost time, Australian small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, has released a new, ultra-luxe package with Azamara that will see guests celebrate Christmas 2023 at sea and the 2024 New Year in Sydney Harbour while journeying around Australia in style.

For reservations made by June 30, 2022, the exclusive package rewards early bookers savings of A$1650 per couple plus a complimentary mini stay before or after the cruise in Perth or Melbourne.

The package features a 14-night voyage from Perth to Melbourne, sailing December 21, 2023, aboard the elegant and spacious 710-guest boutique ship, Azamara Journey, which boasts a pool, two jacuzzis, three fine dining restaurants, an elegant drawing room, martini bar, cabaret lounge, spectacular observation lounge, spa sanctuary and gym.

Ports include the famous Margaret River wine region, the stunning beaches and coastal scenery of Esperance and Albany, wildlife-rich Kangaroo Island, Adelaide and the secluded hamlet of Eden, with Christmas Day celebrated at sea with a traditional feast and all the seasonal trimmings.

Azamara Journey will also spend two nights in Sydney from December 31, 2023, to enable guests to enjoy the spectacle of the city’s world-famous New Year’s Eve fireworks from the decks of the ship in the harbour. The voyage ends in Melbourne on January 4, 2024.

Guests can choose from one of two included bonuses – a three-night hotel stay in Perth before the cruise including breakfasts and a day trip to beautiful Rottnest Island, or a two-night stay with breakfasts in Melbourne after the cruise with a trip to Phillip Island to see its renowned penguins waddle ashore at dusk.

Including the pre or post stays, selected onboard beverages and gratuities, the luxury package is available from A$6375 per person, twin-share – a saving of A$825 each. Book by June 30, 2022.
