Pop the corks! Brisbane Marriott Hotel invites you to be our special guest for an eventful 25th anniversary in May 2023 marked by a week-long celebration that includes an indulgent accommodation offer, a VIP high tea experience and a commemorative cocktail.
Since 1998, Brisbane Marriott has hosted a who’s who of internationally renowned identities from US presidents to sporting stars and touring pop sensations to acclaimed actors.
With its premium position and covetable views of the river and cityscape, the 5-star hotel has also been a beloved backdrop for special occasions and iconic local events for 25 years.
International celebrities who have enjoyed an extended stay at the 267-room Brisbane Marriott include Barack Obama, Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton, 50 Cent and Blink-182, to name a few.
Homegrown heroes Kylie Minogue, Pat Rafter, Lleyton Hewitt, Jessica Mauboy and Nicole Kidman are also among those who have checked into Brisbane Marriott.
Reflecting on the milestone anniversary, Brisbane Marriott General Manager Kelvin Ramm said the hotel has been at the forefront of contributing to The City’s fabric.
“Ideally located at the top end of Brisbane City with views of the Story Bridge, for the past 25 years Brisbane Marriott has made the most of its unique position, attracting guests for a stay on the Brisbane River,” Mr Ramm said.
“As we look to the future, optimism in Brisbane is palpable with TIME magazine recently naming the city in its coveted ‘World’s Greatest Places List 2023’ list.
‘With the 2032 Olympic Games on the horizon, Brisbane is entering an exciting coming-of-age on the cusp of transforming into a world-class metropolis, and we are excited to be a part of it.”
To mark the milestone occasion, Brisbane Marriott will host a calendar of exclusive events along with an indulgent overnight accommodation offer, a celebratory high tea and a 25th anniversary cocktail.
The Retreat. Recharge. Refocus Package includes an overnight stay in a beautifully appointed room featuring a view of the Brisbane City skyline or Brisbane River.
Experience Brisbane Marriott’s onsite luxury amenities; from a dip in the all-weather, heated pool and spa to sampling the extensive wine wall collection at M Bar.
Guests are also treated to a chef’s breakfast selection for two and a $25 dining credit for the award-winning Motion Dining restaurant along with a takeaway refreshment hamper, which includes a bottle of wine.
The celebrations continue with Brisbane Marriott’s 25th anniversary Celebration High Tea and a Celebration Cocktail created especially for the momentous occasion.
Featuring an inspired selection of savoury and sweet birthday-themed treats, including petit desserts, handmade macarons and scones with strawberry jam, cream and lemon curd plus a variety of delicate finger sandwiches with delectable fillings, the High Tea spread includes freshly brewed coffee, tea and a glass of sparkling wine or French Champagne.
The Celebration High Tea is available from 12–3pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 19 May 2023 and includes the Celebration Cocktail from $89 per person.
“As we celebrate Brisbane Marriott Hotel’s 25th anniversary, we look forward to being a part of the future development of the city,” Mr Ramm added.
“Even with the expansion and development of lifestyle precincts such as Howard Smith Wharves and Queens Wharf, Brisbane Marriott remains in a sought-after location, ready for the next chapter of the Brisbane story.”
