Princess Cruises Business Development Manager Jared Voss was recently contacted by one of his valued Travel Managers, Marcia with an interesting request.
You see, Marcia’s husband was the winner of the Lucrative Voice of the Ocean competition onboard Coral Princess in 2019, but sadly, Loukas’ treasured Voice of the Ocean trophy had been broken beyond repair in an unfortunate accident, so Marcia asked Jared if he could get a replacement for him to make her husband whole again.
Challenge accepted! After months of chasing and contacting everyone, Jared said he knew who might be able to help, as he had all but given up hope.
Enter, the opening of international travel where Jared had the opportunity to visit the states and do what he loves the most – cruising and he himself on board Grand Princess and on the last few days of the cruise, Marcia’s request popped into his mind.
After explaining his dilemma to the cruise staff, Natalie [pictured above with Jared] took charge and delved into the depths of the ship’s storage lockers to find a replacement for Loukas, at which she was successful.
With some great deceptive work by Marcia, Jared surprised Loukas at his home with a shiny, brand new trophy for him to proudly display on his mantle and you can watch the hilarious moment that Jared surprised Loukas with the trophy HERE.
