PayPal Holdings Inc. (PayPal) has recently agreed to acquire Israel-based cryptocurrency startup Curv. Subsequently, there was a 100% spike in influencer conversations around the global digital payments company on Twitter during second week of March, reveals GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

PayPal expects Curv to accelerate and expand its initiatives to support cryptocurrencies and digital assets. The deal is likely to be completed in first half of 2021.
