Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, making its grand debut on September 9, 2021, is thrilled to welcome Executive Chef Steve Peterson, and announce its exciting collection of onsite culinary experiences, setting the stage for a vibrant and diverse culinary experience throughout the hotel’s seven distinct dining venues.

An award-winning food & beverage leader, Chef Peterson is poised to lead the way in the city’s culinary scene, and oversee the vibrant culinary landscape across the hotel.

With a proven track record of successfully innovative concept creation and customer experiences, Chef Peterson has worked to open 55 hotels and 132 restaurants around the world.  Over the course of his career, Chef Peterson has been actively committed to the organic and sustainable food and beverage movement, passionately supporting immigrant farmers and their causes. Chef Peterson was most recently the Principal Owner and Operator of Collaborative Kitchen & Culinary Concepts. He is a celebrated chef who has led food and beverage teams with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, OTG, Faena Group, Caesars Entertainment, and more.

In his role as Executive Chef of Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, Chef Peterson will serve as a vital partner in the opening of the hotel and five of its seven culinary venues, overseeing six chefs who provide a culinary richness to each outlet. The hotel’s seven food and beverage outlets will present a range of imaginative dining experiences in artfully inspired, authentically local settings. Bostonians, and out-of-town guests alike, can look forward to the following on-property culinary experiences:

Kestra

Playfully styled after Boston’s rich orchestral history, Kestra offers upscale, all-day dining with a Mediterranean-American flair. Signature dishes include Lobster and Cheesy Blue Corn Grits and a Seaport Scramble with local crab and fresh local vegetables. Its bill-of-fare evolves throughout the day to reflect the Seaport District’s own creative evolution, and the epicurean ingenuity is echoed in the avant-garde physical design of the space. The experiential service caters to the most discerning of guests, while indulging in a convivial atmosphere.

Sporting Club

An illustrious sanctuary deserving of the Seaport District, Sporting Club is a place for tastemakers, urbanites, and sports enthusiasts to congregate, network, drink, dine, and create traditions in a distinctively intimate and modern sporting environment. Guests can take their drinks in the Trophy Room, the Chill-Out Lounge (VIP suite), or in the central Club Room featuring 12 high-definition televisions. Featuring locally and globally inspired crafted food, small and shareable plates, and specialty cocktails with a refined twist, the outlet’s highlight experience will include gathering around the TD Garden Tower, designed for up to eight guests and brimming with fresh chilled lobster, jumbo prawns, oysters, clams, king crab, smoked fish dip, and all the related accoutrements.

Lifted Pool Bar

Lifted Pool Bar is a refreshing, fifth-floor open-air urban oasis of contemporary food and cocktails, by the only outdoor pool in the Seaport. Aquatic rhythm and breezy days await with sips, sun, and serenity. Guests can look forward to whimsical dishes such as a one-pound, Salted-Caramel Lobster Roll on a New England split top roll.

Crescendo Lobby Bar

With the energy of pre-show buzz, Crescendo seeks to bring energetic anticipation with a dynamic flair to the Seaport District and hotel guests. High profile and center stage, Crescendo is focused on composed cocktails, a stellar wine and beer selection, and simple, well-orchestrated savory and sweet lounge bites.

Legato Grab & Go Market

Legato is the property’s own independent, contemporary coffee shop. Its strong personality is accented by spontaneous offerings and playfulness unseen in the standard grab-and-go coffee shop. Sustainable packaging and responsibly traced coffee marks Legato as the coffee shop of the 21st century. The fare menu will offer a progressive carte-du-jour of breakfast and lunch items, and locally sourced Boston doughnuts will take central stage each day.

COJE Management Group Venues

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is pleased to collaborate with Boston’s renowned COJE Management Group, which will open and operate two distinct venues including Coquette, a signature French restaurant concept serving coastal French cuisine, and a delightful boulangerie, currently being finalized.

In addition to his tutelage across the hotel’s restaurants, Chef Peterson will also curate and orchestrate the food and beverage programming for the property’s vast meeting and event spaces, as well as the in-room dining experience. When it debuts, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport will be home to the largest hotel ballroom in Boston and 100,000-square-feet of flexible space, and will feature 1,054 guestrooms, including 52 suites spanning t 22 floors.
