The ‘Nouméa quays’ have undertaken an incredible makeover and transformed into a spectacular waterfront precinct.

The city of Nouméa, New Caledonia, has recently inaugurated its new ferry docks, located at the entrance to the city centre, and now called “Les Quais Nouméa”. After three years of intensive work, the brand-new shopping complex has risen from the ground, on the seafront, to the delight of Caledonians, while awaiting the return of tourists and cruise passengers.

Several businesses have already settled in the 5,000 m2 retail space.
Shops, bars, restaurants … The “Quais Nouméa” is a place to meet, live, eat or simply relax.
